Refund Policy

We want you to have a great training experience. This policy explains when refunds and credits apply. It sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.
Single sessions
- More than 24 hours' notice: full refund to the original payment method, or rebook free of charge.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: the session fee is forfeited.
- No-show: the session fee is forfeited.
- Coach cancels: full refund or a free reschedule — your choice.
Session packs (5-pack & 10-pack)
- Packs are non-refundable once any credit has been used.
- Unused, unredeemed packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, less a 5% payment-processing fee.
- Credits expire 12 months from purchase. Unused credits at expiry are forfeited (no cash refund).
- If you cancel an individual booking with more than 24 hours' notice, the pack credit is automatically returned to your account.
Medical & injury
If you can't train due to injury or illness, contact us with a medical certificate and we'll pause your pack (up to 3 months) or discuss a fair refund of unused credits.
How to request a refund
Email dan@theengine.au with your booking reference and the reason. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill.
